Democracy

Summary

Definition of Democracy:

A system of government in which power is vested in the people, who rule either directly or through freely elected representatives.

The US Preamble establishes democracy in a very clear manner. I believe in the common good of all communities to take part in how laws and legislation affect their well-being. Living in a democratic society gives us the voice and freedom to create and establish domestic tranquility. We must give each other a hand up so that we can collectively impact the outcomes in our communities that we want to see.  Change requires action and focus. Your participation in elections is required so your voice can be heard , thereby, ensuring that democracy will prevail. For the people, by the people, we the people.
