Biography

I have been married for 25 years and I have four children, three grown and one in high school.  I hold a California Teaching Credential and have been a school teacher for over 20 years.  I'm also an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.  My husband and I are pastors on staff at our church in Lincoln, CA.  I have held many volunteer positions over the years, including Parent Teacher Club Board Member, Sports Booster Sales Organizer, and Adopt-A-Block Team Leader, which reaches out to underpriviiged children in our community.  My life has always been about giving back to my community and now I want to serve my city as a member of the city council.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I believe in small government and doing what is right for the town as a whole.  It is my goal to help make sure that Lincoln stays fiscally solvent and transparent to it's residents.  We need to focus on public safety, as our city is growing and the need for adequate police and fire is real.  We need to make sure we protect our water rights as new develpment comes in and make sure that projects that are promised, like parks, are followed through.  We need to aggressively recruit new business opportunities to come to Lincoln and decrease our regulations and fees to make that happen.  As we grow, however, I want to work hard to maintain Lincoln's rural atmosphere and hometown feel.  I don't want Lincoln to become a large urban city.  And finally, I'd like to see the ciyt partner with the schools, businesses and non-profit organizations to help build strong families in Lincoln.  Working together we can keep Lincoln a great place to live.
